UPLIFT will launch the next training school on Artificial Intelligence in Radiotherapy

The 2nd UPLIFT School, titled “Artificial Intelligence in Radiotherapy”, is a six-day event featuring 20+ scientific talks on the latest AI innovations and applications in radiotherapy.

Additionally, six sessions are dedicated to the career development of early-stage researchers (ESRs) and students, supporting their professional growth.

The final day of the event will feature a joint symposium on AI for Particle Therapy (AI4PT), highlighting the role of AI in enhancing particle therapy treatments.

Hands-on learning will be emphasised through AI academy sessions designed for beginner developers and users, offering practical skills in AI tools relevant to radiotherapy.

Two poster sessions will offer 25 slots for ESRs and students to present their research, and two travel grants will be awarded to students with top-ranked abstracts to encourage broader participation.

To further foster collaboration and networking, the team-building activity “Hike and Think Trail” in the Swiss Alps will provide attendees with a unique and inspiring setting.

This combination of education, mentorship, practical learning, and collaboration makes the UPLIFT School a must-attend event for those focused on advancing AI applications in radiotherapy and particle therapy.
